You can connect iodyne Pro Mini to the Apple or Google Find My network to locate your device when it’s lost, misplaced, or in transit to a remote location. To connect Pro Mini to a Find My network, first download and install iodyne software to set up your device:
Connect Pro Mini to your computer using the provided iodyne Pro Cable, then install iodyne software from the Install volume on Pro Mini, or download software from the iodyne website
Launch iodyne Utility and complete the setup process. You will be prompted to enable Find My at the end of the process by following instructions for either iOS or Android:
Enable Find My
If enabling Find My was skipped during setup, launch iodyne Utility, connect Pro Mini to your computer, and follow the instructions below for your platform.
Apple Find My
. From the Pro Mini Status view, verify that Tracking is on
. Launch the Find My app on your iPhone, and navigate to Devices
. Select Add Other Item from the + menu to begin searching for discoverable items, then hold your iPhone close to Pro Mini
. Link Pro Mini to your Find My network and apply appropriate settings
Google Find My
. From the Pro Mini Status view, verify that Tracking is on
. Swipe down from the top of the screen of your Android phone, then long-press Bluetooth
. Tap Pair new device, then hold your phone close to Pro Mini to discover it
. Pair Pro Mini to your phone and apply appropriate settings
. Launch the Find Hub app on your Android phone to verify that Pro Mini has been added to your accessories
Disable Find My
. With Pro Data connected to your computer, launch iodyne Utility
. From the Pro Mini Status view, toggle Tracking to the off position
Pro Mini Bluetooth discoverability is now off, its battery is now electrically disabled, and it is no longer visible to the Find My network.
Factory Reset
. With Pro Data connected to your computer, launch iodyne Utility
. From the Pro Mini Status view, toggle Tracking to the off position
. Locate Pro Mini in the Devices menu, and select Disconnect Tracking from its submenu.
. Launch Find My on your iPhone or Find Hub on your Android phone.
. Navigate to Devices to locate Pro Mini, and tap Remove Item
Pro Mini Bluetooth discoverability is now off, its battery is now electrically disabled, it is no longer visible to the Find My network, and it has been removed from your account.
Serial Number Lookup
iodyne Utility
. With Pro Data connected to your computer, launch iodyne Utility
. From the Pro Mini Usage or Status view, click the circle-i icon next to the device name to view its serial number
iPhone NFC
. Hold your iPhone on top of the Pro Mini Digital Label
. Open the App Clip experience when prompted
. Click the Identify button in the App Clip window to view the device serial number
Android NFC
. Hold your phone on top of the Pro Mini Digital Label
. Open the URL in your web browser when prompted
. Click the Identify button in the browser page to view the device serial number
Find My Network
. Launch the Find My app on your iPhone or Find Hub on your Android phone . Navigate to Devices and select Pro Mini to view its serial number
Battery Status
The Pro Mini battery automatically and intelligently charges when connected to a computer or camera, and powers Find My tracking while it is not connected. View the current charge level of the battery from the iodyne Utility Status view or Find My phone app.
